I am currently looking around to build a Hackintosh for my brother as a gift since Apple is retardedly overpriced.

So I am looking at spending around $500-650.

I haven't a clue about what is compatible with OS X. I know that Gigabyte boards are best and I want to have it in a I-TX form so that I can use a Silver FT-03 MINI.

Any suggestions would be great.

Thanks :)

Here you go: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/12hOV $645

There's also a $10 rebate with the gpu.

I would highly recommend getting a cheaper case and trying to include an ssd in there.
