Whining noise inside PC

Hi, inside my PC there is a whining noise. I think it may be coming from the CPU fan. My specs are- Intel Pentium G2020, Sapphire HD7750, 4gb ram, gigabyte mb (cant remember model name) and a 1tb hard drive. Does anyone know how I could stop it?

and what are you using the pc for

i have the stock intel heatsink and give me a min to find the psu

well its standard 230v psu but i cant remember the name

I think just some of the intel heatsinks do this, mine is fairly quiet but has a slightly louder rattle at some times. You could try fiddling a little with the fan to make sure it is parallel to the aluminium fins or maybe move the wiring around it and manage it better.

no the psu didnt come with the case, i bought it off a friend who had used it for like a month before he was given a better corsair one

ive never had any problem withit before

sound like the cpu fan, if it is the problem i'd recommend buying an after market one

its a simple low profile fan, if you have plenty of space in the case get a bigger one, they tend to be quieter

if your using the default intel cooler, id change it soon

there build for minimum cost and make your cpu run a lot hotter than a after market cooler

just a suggestion, when you can i'd recommend upgrading the Pentium to an i3, some games will push that cpu pretty hard
