Hello guys,

I'm currently running two MSI Geforce GTX 670 Power Editions in SLI.

I used to game on surround monitors, but I swapped the three monitors for just two better monitors, so I don't really need the SLI config anymore.

The new series coming out got me thinking of selling my two 670's and buy a 770. Would this be a good choice?

I'm going to try to sell the cards for enough money so I can buy a MSI 770 twinfrozer oc and a Corsair graphite 600t.

Any advice?

thanks in advance.

2 670s are way better than one 770! You could get a 780 if you dont want sli but otherwise i would stay with the two cards.

I'm aware of that, but I dont really need the extra performance, because I'm gaming on one 1080p monitor.

I meant to ask this: Selling two 670's for one 770 and a 600t. Good trade ?

Sounds fine. I don't think you will get quite as much performance out of the single 770 as you would with the two 670's. But it would mean lower Temps in your rig due to one less card. Less power consumption by quite a lot. It will also look a lot better.

In my opinion I would go for the Stock 770'S. I love the look of them it beats any aftermarket cooler and also if you want to water cool it in the future then you will get a block a lot easier.

if you take it like this, i would go for something like a EVGA gtx770 ftw with the acx cooler.

I've made up my mind guys. I'm keeping the 670's but I'm buying a new case.

Any good case suggestions for under 150? :) (preferably from Corsair)

stay with it lol, you will need it in future

a 770 is essentially a 680, which only performs a tiny bit better than a single 670!

Thanks alot guys!

I use a white 500R and I have no complaints about it. Clean, looks good, good air cooling options, pretty much has everything you need short of crazy custom water cooling options and easy to work in. I think they're pretty cheap nowadays, though when I bought mine, it was like 130 USD.

GTX 670/680's are far cheaper, and the performance increase personally i don't see worth the money invested to 7xx
