Graphics Card Help

So I am planning to build a computer and I had a question about the graphics card I’m buying.  The ROG Poseidon because it is based off a good NVIDIA card and I want to water cool at a later date.  My questions are

1.      Is this a good card

2.      Can I get a two of these on an ASUS Maximus VII Formula

1. Yes, however, it might not be the most cost effective way. I'd wait until they release a 900 series Poseidon card (if they haven't already). Normally I'd recommend getting a reference card and buying a block but I'm assuming you don't want to pull the card apart.

BTW, most of the text is a nightmare to read for people using the dark theme.
