Posted September 27, 2014 Hey guys, I just found an Alienware 17 for about 1500-1600 USD it has the followin specs: Processor 4th Generation (Haswell) Intel Core i7-4910MQ (8MB Cache, up to 4.1 GHz w/ Turbo Boost) Display 17.3" WLED Full HD (1080p/1920x1080) Memory 16GB Dual Channel DDR3 1600MHz Graphics 8GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 880M GDDR5 Hard Drive 2 x 1TB HDD + 80GB mSATA SSD (cache) Optical Drive 8X Blu-Ray Combo (Blu-ray ROM + DVD+/- RW) Wireless Connectivity Killer Wireless-N 1202 a/g/n 2x2 MIMO + Bluetooth 4.0 Is it worth it, I've been looking to buy a laptop with an 880m in it for a while(Yes I know desktops are better) and this one seems really good, the only dents in the pictures I've seen are in these and these Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options... Posted September 27, 2014 It's a decent price and it'll probably be more reliable as well due to the fact that most refurbished products are checked over with a fine-toothed comb and usually any small problems are sorted whereas manufacturers might let minor problems slip through.
