You get 1.6 when you buy Anthology.

 

AFAIK there's no such thing as an official release of CS 1

Hey guys! So I finally ordered a copy of Counter Strike 1: Anthology.

 

The question is, is Counter Strike 1 and 1.6 the same? I know this is kinda a nooby question, but that's my question.

 

And yes, the Anthology that I'm buying isn't like the one on Steam. This just has Counter Strike and the Condition Zero. Nothing else. 

 

That's it. 

 

That was the question. Difference between CS 1 and CS 1.6.

Technically yes. 

 

Counter strike 1: Anthology = 1.6 + CZ

 

No such thing as a standalone CS 1
