GTX 760 not working

My friend just set up his new PC. He went to install geforce experience and some drivers for his GPU and when it asked him to restart his pc he did. Now his pc only works when the MSI logo pops up and black screens from there. However if he takes his GPU his pc works. Does anybody know what could be wrong with the system?

Does he have a multi monitor setup?

Try changing the cable/port you connect your  display to.

Try changing the cable/port you connect your  display to.

it was working of the GPU before it was installed and he doesnt have any other connectors or a multi monitor set up

Run the system on the iGPU (assuming he has one) and run Driver Sweeper. Then try again.
