socket 2011 haswell?

Does anyone know if there will be a Haswell socket 2011 CPU anytime soon? Because I'm in need of a CPU but my rampage 4 extreme has a 2011 socket and Haswell only has 1150..

The next upgrade for Socket 2011 will be Ivybridge-E in September. Socket 2011 currently uses Sandybridge-E; Haswell-E will not be here until 2015ish.

Based on some benchmarks which im not sure if it was just a manufacture cpu, they dont perform that much better

If you are building a new rig with the intent to get Ivy Bridge E when it comes out, just get the i7-3820 and save some money since you're not planning to stick with it in the long run anyway.  Although hopefully Ivy Bridge E will bring some newer and better motherboards than all the current ones from 2011.  X79 motherboards seem to be pretty finicky.

+1 to this. If you can wait, wait until September since there'll probably be a few new motherboards. One of the benefits there would be that those new boards would support Ivy-E out of the box, whereas current boards will require a BIOS flash for example. If you must buy now, as Glenwing said, just buy a 3820 and save yourself a few hundred pounds/dollars.

As for performance increase, expect 10% increase over Sandy-E clock per clock, core per core. Ivy-E is just a die shrink from 32nm to 22nm, with native PCIe 3.0 support.

Thanx guys! I think I will wait until the new upgrade comes out, or I get the 3820 and upgrade the motherboard and CPU at the same time. But anyways, you helped me out a lot
