Demozwolf
Go to solution Solved by virtualTune,

I use AVAST and haven't had any issues with it.

All I can say is that DO NOT use Avira AntiVirus. I had that a couple years ago and ended up with multiple viruses over the years.

Hello I would like to know what is the best antivirus software thank you

For Windows: Avast! Free Anti-Virus.

Some information about which OS you have and price range would be nice.

Anti virus is a waste of space/system resources/

Browser + Adblock is much better since most infections come from 1) downloading fake programs 2) email attachments 3) forced downloads from sites

I use AVG Free but if you want to spend cash on a Anti-Virus I recommend Kaspersky , I already tested Bitdefender wich is known as a super good Anti-Virus but it take A LOT of resources . If you want to try Kaspersky there is a Free Demo here  http://www.kaspersky.ca/downloads

I don't know how to change my Username :(

An anti-virus really isn't a effective piece of software, I am not saying you should remove it, but souly relying on it won't work out, the definition updates take time, most threats are zero day or at least new threats. Security on a operating system is about layers. Personally my setups goes like this, keyScrambler (anti keylogger), Avira, WinPatrol (activity monitor) and sort of unrelated but I use KeePass for my accounts. I'd also suggest a firewall like Comodo however they come at the trade off off basiclly all piracy so I don't use one.
