Please try and post in the relevant sub forum as it helps to keep general clean.

Why do you believe you need 16gb of RAM?

You can check whether parts are supported in your manual that came with the board or on the manufacturers website. Most 1155 boards at the moment support just about any type of DDR3 RAM. I'd be looking for 1600 C9; 8GB for gaming. Personally, unless it's for high end applications, I normally go with Corsair Vengeance 1600 C9 kits..

EDIT: Here's an option http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233186

For gaming you won't ever need more than 8GB. And Dominator is way overpriced, and overkill for gaming. Just get some standard 2x4GB 1600MHz 1.5 or 1.65V CL9... It's a lot cheaper than 16 gigs of dominator. I'd recommend Corsair Vengeance, Kingston HyperX or Mushkin Enhanced. But ram is ram, if it works it will usually be as good as anything else, and there is a lot of it in the market

Any RAM will work for gaming, and 8GB or more is suggested. But yea please post in the appropriate forums. Simply go to the top of the page and click "Forums" then select the category that you wish to post in.

If you are gaming, 8gb is just enough. In my opinion, get the one that will look nice with your build. The difference from a 1600mhz ram to 2133mhz is not even noticeable when gaming. As long you are not ordering a no name brand ram, than you should be fine. I would just get one that has reasonable pricing that will look good in your build. Note.: I am not sure if this is true but I am pretty sure 2133mhz ram might be unstable in certain builds.

http://ncix.com/products/?sku=75533&...L%20TECHNOLOGY This might look nice with the mpower on the blue leds setting. NCIX does sell red or green ones as well.

I currently have 16gb thats because the ram was almost 50% off. I have 8gb 1600mhz kingston hyperx and 8gb 1600mhz Crucial Ballistix Tactical Tracer (Red+Blue LEDS)
