WARNING: long story

I had Windows 7 installed on my computer, and decided to dual-boot Windows 8 onto it. It worked, but I only allocated 32GB of space to it. I soon ran out of space. So, I went back into Windows 7, went into Disk Management, and added a third partition to the drive. I merged the two newer partitions. Little did I know, this would change my drive from a basic disk to a dynamic disk. And you can't install Windows on a dynamic disk. So, I deleted that partition's data (I don't know why), Windows started giving me an error when booting (I can still boot), and I can't get rid of the error. The partition is gone now, by the way. If you want pictures, they may or may not come later. :(

you'll need to reinstall your windows bootloader. You can do this by downloading a windows 7 install disk and using it to recover/repair your windows installation.

This'll install the default windows 7 bootloader with its default settings, and should let it boot into win7 without errors automatically again.

EDIT: Something else you can try: execute msconfig and go to the "boot" tab. Maybe windows 8'll show up there and you can simply delete that.

JvHummel's got it. You can just simply remove the operating system listed in msconfig -> boot. if the OS is not listed somehow then reinstall the bootloader as stated above.

The Wheel of Time turns, and Ages come and pass, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth comes again.
