SSD Missing space

Go to solution Solved by xDArKzVeNoMx,

The two files C:\hiberfil.sys and C:\pagefile.sys take up the space that you figured was missing. They are used by these two features. When you turn them off and reboot the system, you can delete the files (If the system hasn't already.)

Well I already deleted my partition and did a new one and its better 1411688622-capture-d-ecran-1.png

I know but I just wanted the missing GB not removing Windows stuff that gave me 20GB

Fair enough...

Remember though..

CMD window /w Admin Rights

Powercfg -h off

Powercfg -h on

^Obvious explanation is obvious.

Just a future FYI.

You can still put the machine into sleep mode as normal...and if you NEVER hibernate...disabling that will give you back space you would never use otherwise, and doesn't disable sleep mode.

But thats up to you, you can easily turn it on and off at will with the above.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz
