Hi guys

I will be building my first PC for home use. I would like to know your thoughts and any recommendations you may have on the components I have selected.

Gigabyte GA-Z97X-SLI Intel Motherboard

Intel Core i5 4460 3.2 GHz 4th Gen CPU

Corsair Vengeance Black 8GB DDR 3 1600 MHz Dual channel

Crucial MX100 128 GB 2.5" SATA 6GB/s SSD only for OS

Corsair CS 550M Power Supply

Graphite Series 230T Windowed Compact Midi Tower Case

I have a 3TB HDD which will be used for everything but the OS and also a DVD RW drive

Im not too sure on motherboards so if someone can advise as to using this motherboard or a different one instead

Also the case comes with 3 preinstalled fans with support for up to 6, Would 3 fans be adequate for this setup?

Any advice and recommendations greatly appreciated

Sorry my bad

I am in the UK my budget is no more than £600 the components I have selected come to just over £500 so a little room for improvements. I will be using my PC for watching movies browsing the web, email, music etc. Only gaming it will be used for is online and will be hooked up to 1 monitor ( I use my TV as a monitor 1080p full HD)

I have both Windows 7 and 8, I will be installing windows 7
