Is the Asus Strix GTX 970 sold out?

I've been looking for the right GTX 970 and I've narrowed down the choice to the Asus Strix. Problem is I can't find one for sale. Amazon and Newegg both say it's out of stock and NCIX is just a preorder. Other 970's are in stock, is this just an Asus problem?

If they're out of stock, there's a very high chance they will restock soon.

It says out of stock because they haven't gotten the shipment from ASUS yet. So aka its on backorder.

Do note though that the STRIX has a different combination of graphic outputs.  Less DP, more HDMI and DVI.

Strix was out of stock ASAP. I tried Amazon and Newegg on the launch day, was all gone within the first 12 hrs :(
