I can't go much higher than 230MHz offset, I'm getting artefacts and static lines when I do (I upped the Max GPU Voltage but I'm still getting artifacts anyway).

So, is everything looking good? Do I need to set anything else?

Also when I ran 3DMark and the GPU went to 100% usage, max temperature was 65 Degrees Celsius.

Card is the Asus GTX 780 DirectCU II 3GB by the way: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00DWV3NM6

How much time did you tested that configuration?

It seems it's ok, temps are safe. Also If I were you, I would OC memory clock too.

i was typing the same when you posted that

Well I did multiple 3DMark tests, just to make sure, and I've been playing games and using the computer as I normally do for a few days now on this clock, haven't had any issues yet.

Should I overclock it in the same way - just slowly raise it, then run something like 3DMark to make sure everything's okay? What clock should I aim for, and when should I then try to raise the core further?

I think If you used it for a few days without any issue, It's done. Now raise memory clock by the same way like core clock. If you go further than gpu can, maybe it will reduce it performance or get artifacts as well. In that case, increase voltage and try again.

Edit: When you get satisfactory memory clocks, try again increasing core clock, maybe you can push up a little more.
