Dying GPU?

I have a reference EVGA 670 that I've owned since Summer 2012 and recently shit like this started happening:

 

 

Is this the sign of a dying GPU? It's been happening more often lately but always after a long gaming session, but this time it happened when I was just browsing the webs.

 

Never overclocked it ever.

 

I wonder if I can still return it.

Should have bout the fleashlight edition. Would still be useful !

Try downclocking the memory and core clock and see if it still artifacts.

it looks like your GPU is running at full clocks on windows that should not be happening try lowering them or increasing the voltage

I went and cleaned out my GPU and re-applied thermal paste while I was at it. Hopefully that was the problem. The temps and clocks are much lower now.
