go to disk management look in there for hard drives set the drive to active

Does it show up in the bios? If it doesn't then you need to check the cables.

If it shows up in the bios but you can t find the drive, you may need to initialize the drive .

Hey Felice,

 

You can take a look at this article in the KB of WD. There is an interesting theme about How to initialize or write a signature to a secondary hard drive or Solid State drive in Windows (8, 7, Vista, XP). I think it will resolve your problem.
