FLAMMABLEGAS17481
Go to solution Solved by Nico123473,

i dont mind 27-29 inch. i will use it for photoshopping and Gaming Which both need good color. and lets change the cap to $300

This one is IPS, so it will have good color and good viewing angles

ASUS MX279H 27-Inch Screen

1080p @ 27" is fine? I mean, I guess some find it alright but not everyone does.

Oups, sorry, I meant 24inch is fine not 27inch

I thought you wanted a large monitor? That LG monitor is equivalent to a 20" monitor vertically (FYI).

Look: http://www.displaywars.com/20-inch-16x9-vs-25-inch-235x1

If you are going to get a large monitor then make sure it is at least a 1440p one. Assuming you meant 27" or larger monitors.

Yeah, I don't think they made TV's in that resolution. My father used to work for a sign company that worked on casino signs and got a couple of really big monitors for free. It isn't anywhere close to 1440p, but it still looks good enough for me.

  • 2 weeks later...

I don't know if you actually ever got a monitor yet, but I am leaving some feedback.

I decided it was time for me to upgrade my monitor and I ended up purchasing a crossover 290m (under $300). If you are looking for photoshop your best bang for the buck will most likely be a korean 1440p monitor, which I would either suggest Qnix or X-Star. You will get a lot more bang for your buck than a 24" 1080p monitor.
