Hello i was thinking if i can go tri-SLI 980 SC on a 860 watt PSU is it possible??

I would get something bigger just incase, besides its always nice to have the extra headroom. Why do you want tri SLI anyway? its just a waste of money

Its still a waste imo, The benefit of tri sli is nothing compared to duel sli.

Tri SLI is okay. It's not as beneficial as dual but it's not bad. Four way SLI though on a good day is like a 10% improvement over Tri SLI

It will work fine if you don't overclock

It will work, but it may get maxed out at high load to CPU GPU and hard drives it probably won't have any problems, but if it starts shutting off "randomly" get a new power supply
