indiegala does giveaways pretty often.

the best way would be to stand in front of a Game shop, see someone exiting with a game you want, beat him and steal the game

 

Of course, it would be highly illegal and criminal.

 

There might be ways to get games for free from Steam, that are not free and do not have giveaways, but it would be the same logic as the first line, but instead of beating it would be hacking to steal the game
