G-sync SLI issues ?

I am planning to bulid a rig with SLI 980s and i was wondering if there would be any issues with G-sync (Acer XB280HK). I have heard of some people who have the ROG swift (PG278Q) and have some issues (not sure what kind). I was hoping you guys could give me your input on this.

I think the most recent drivers fixed that for people but I am not sure.

I heard that people specifically had issues with ROG Swift, not gsync in general. Tho cant be 100% on this.
