Samsung 840 Pro > OCZ Vector > everything else (for performance). I've heard good things about Plextor, Kingston, and Corsair SSDs.

Samsung 840 uses TLC flash which is slower and does not last as long as standard MLC flash like in every other drive.  The 840 Pro is usually the most expensive SSD (besides the Vector) and it has the highest performance; likewise the 840 non-pro is the cheapest but for usually the same price or $10 more there are MLC SSDs from Kingston or other reputable manufacturers that are much better than the 840 in terms of both durability and performance.  If you want the best, get the 840 Pro.  Although, I will comment that SSDs are so fast usually the difference in speed between them is not really noticeable.  So it comes down to price, warranty, and other various features it may have. (included cloning software, or customized firmware features)

The Kingston V300 seems to be a good value to me.
