1440p vram

How much Vram do you need for 1440p gaming? I was debating on a 2gb or 4gb 770 for one 1440p monitor so I was wondering if it would be really worth it to get the 4gb edition, or if its much of an actual difference.

Why even bother with the 770. It's a fail card and discontinued. Get a 970 and be happy.

With a single gtx 770 it doesn't make a difference. You will be limited by the actual performance before you have to worry about VRAM. Get the 2GB version or a better GPU (R9 290 or a gtx 970) instead.

I had a 770 and I was using it at 1440p for half a year..... There is no VRAM bottleneck because you will have to turn down settings in order to maintain a decent experience. Sure, watchdoge and BF4 might need more than 2GB at max settings, and stepping up to 1440p might increase that by another 200MB - 300MB, but you'd be crazy to play at max settings at 1440p with that card anyway. There is no VRAM bottleneck.

A single 770 will do bad at 1440p anyways. Try to at least get a GTX 780 or 970 if you want to stick to Nvidia.
