Hey guys, just did a fresh downgrade from windows 8 to 7 on my sisters PC which it is now cocked up big time. I had loads of problems with even getting to the windows installation window and then had to install SATA drives (which might be the problem). Because I couldn't see any drives I decided to install a completely "random works with the majority of this model" type of driver. It worked and I could now see the partitions and drives so I tried to format and install the desired one and it said it was a GPT partition. I then proceeded to input some random commands found in the deeps of the web who were said to work and guess what, marvelous. Windows installation was going perfectly and as soon as the much needed restart has to happen the computer BSODs and does this constantly. After trying to fix it with windows repair tools on the installation window I can no longer boot the installation window either because of a status "0xc0000098" and still cannot boot windows up. Need some serious help, thanks!

discconect all drives and reconnect them 1 by one and it should boot, I have the same issue my own system.

You should never downgrades os's  on a oem product...plus you had no reason to downgrade.

Going from Win8 to Win7 is hardly a downgrade.  It also makes the computer much more usable for those who aren't enthusiasts and just want something that works and only requires common sense to find everything.
