I was planning on using a 660 ti in my rig but this is only 100 dollars more with better performance should i get this or a different card i want to go nvidia for my gpu

My rig  case- Graphite 600t white CPU-i5 3570k OC 4.0Ghz RAM- 8gb Vengeance memory HDD-WD Black 1tb PSU-tx650 GPU- MSI 770 gameing edition 2gb , gtx 650 1gb Motherboard- asrock extreme 3 z77 Fan controller- NZXT sentry lx CPU cooler- H60 Peripherals- g300 mouse G630 headset k70 silver cherry mx red switches  my free nas nas Case- Dell something.. Ram- 8 gb ecc ddr 2 CPU - Pentium D 3.0ghz HDD currently 160 gb adding 3tb wd red “Sucking at something is the first step to being sorta good at something” –Jake the Dog

should i get a 770 or not

770 forsure is better than 660ti. a 680 is already better than 660ti. Just depend on your budget, if i'm you and got the budget for 770 i will step towards to 770 too.

 

But i dont know your situation too, example like are you having budget for this upgrade? Want some loading speed (SSD) or anything else then it will be a different story.

it all depends on your CPU if you have a kind of low end cpu then i would go the 660ti but if you have a high end cpu then i would go the 770 if the budget fits

A gtx 770 would be twice as faster than the gtx 660 ti. The decision is up to you.

This is so so wrong.  :lol: 

Anyway, GTX670 price should be dropping right now, maybe you can get that instead. It is the closest to 680/770 but cost much less.  ;)

770 would be much better then 660ti... If you have the budget for it go for it :-)
