Pretty good build, doubt you could make it cheaper without sacrificing performance, unless if you go with a AMD CPU or downgrade to a R9 270X

 

Edit: That motherboard is a Z97, find a cheaper H97 board

Edit #2: That board seems to be cheaper than most H97, never mind then, you should be good
