Quick Question about Evga Step-Up

 is there any way I can step up if I bought the 780 on 6/15/14? 


It says im not eligible before 6/21, but I sent a message in support anyway, to see if someone there is nice enough to do that  :P


But it says Im not eligible because my warranty is a limited 90 day warranty, and i only registered today (has to be under 14 days), so I was wondering if i buy the extended warranty after this one expires and I can step up...


 


Oh and also, when registering, i put in the wrong date... (i put the 23rd by accident), So i know its the warranty thats the only complaint there...

If they dont have a brain because the 970 beats the 780 and thats like 329usd

EDIT: just like mega said if they want to sli then they would buy it and by dont have a brain i mean have no idea about videocards and they would think higher the number the better :L

Nvidia is to Dr Dre Beets as AMD is to KFC.

Evga already said they wont step up to the new gen anyways, so youre screwed on 2 fronts

That was on another thread somewhere, somebody else did step up to a 980 from some 700 series card..

(dont remember full thing...)

There's a chance if they already have one 780 and want to SLI it, but they'd have to be pretty uninformed if they have no graphics card at all and buy a 780 for $450.

Oh usually 1440p or 4k downscaled

1440p would definitely benefit from another 780. I'm sure Ebay will be full of cheap 780/tis for the next while.
