just a little bit under $1300

Swap the gaming mobo to the regular z77a-G45

 

Replace ram with cheaper Kingston Hyper X CL9 1600 ram. (Or any cheap CL9 1600 ram for that matter)

 

Get Samsung 840 120gb SSD instead  for much better random read/write speed.

 

Psu overkill. Get cx600 psu instead.

 

Grab a seagate barracuda 1 or 2 TB hdd for storage.
