Hi Friends,

I am wondering would I be able to install Mac OS in my PC. I have seen many videos but nothing could actually help me in this. I have also attached my partition picture. Pls note that the C: drive is SSD. and the New Volume D: use to be primary drive before I installed my SSD. So Just thinking can I install Mac in that D: drive, dual boot my system and use other drives like E: etc as a file storage. Thanks in advance.

Regards

yes, but you may need to format disk 1 to GUID partition table which will delete all other partitions and data, windows sets it to MBR by default which wont work with osx. i highly recommend you just get a third drive and install it on that

It's really hard to get OS X on a PC. It takes really specific hardware and even the firmware you are running is make or break. If you manage to get it to work, there are going to be a lot of issues that take a while to iron out (sound not working, wifi, etc.).

Here's a website that can help you if you really want to try to get OS X onto your computer: http://www.hackintosh.com

Hmmm I understand... Just wanted to do a wild try that's all coz I never used Mac in my life. So I asked.

It's certainly worth the effort, and you can learn a hell of a lot.

Especially from the master of it all, that's already gotten X99 working.

Do check out all the links @Snickerzz provided as well. Be prepared for it to be very finicky if your hardware setup isn't 100% on the compatibility lists, but there are always people and resources to help you.
