Upgrading advice needed

Go to solution Solved by Oshino Shinobu,

But will it should more performance then a 6GB 780?

Well, the 980 is rumoured at around $549 I think, and should perform around the same or better than a 780Ti.

They'll almost certainly be annouched at Game24, and likely released within a month or so.

Hello everyone,

I currently have a 3GB 660Ti oc from asus and I can't find another one of these cards so SLI sadly will not be possible.

Should I save up a little more and go with a 6GB 780 STRIX from ASUS or what cards would you guys recommend, I would like to stay Nvidia as I really enjoy Geforce Experience so no AMD cards for me.

Just if this helps in recommend

I'm running 3x 1080p monitors (left one = 21.5in, - middle one = 24in, - Right one = 21.5in)

CPU: i7-4770

CPU cooler: Hyper 212 Evo (Coolmaster)

MotherBoard: Asus Z87-A

OS: Windows 8.1 PRO on adata 128GB SS

Games : 750GB WD 16mb Cache

Recordings (for when I record playing games): 2TB 64mb cache Seagate

Ram: 16GB (4x4) Kingston HyperX 1600Mhz DDR3

PSU: 1000w 80+ GOLD coolermasterV (its not over kill, its for the power efficiency arch.)

and of course right now GPU: 3GB 660ti OC from ASUS

Case: I haven't moved my system into it yet but I have the Corsair 450D
