So comparing the 2, the bitfenix spectre pro's have an SP design with flat fins, spin slower but yet move MUCH more air.  What are the disadvantages?

Specs: Core I7-2600K @ 4.5GHz @ 1.35V, 4x4GB Corsair Vengeance Black 1600MHz CL9, Cooler Master Evo 212, MSI Z77 Mpower Motherboard, Sapphire Radeon HD 7950 Vapor-X @ 1000/1400, Cooler Master HAF 932 Blue Edition w/ 3 Cougar Hydraulic Bearing 120MM fans (2 up top 1 in the bottom) replaced side panel with a window, and rear fan with a Cougar Hydraulic Bearing 140MM, Cooler Master GX 650 80+ Bronze PSU, Samsung DVD-RW, Samsung 840 Pro 128GB SSD, Seagate 750GB SATA III 7200RPM

What size fans we talking about here?

I have a set of the SP for my H100 the seem to work really well. They are designed for rads but I'm sure you could use them for air flow they do move air. I can't comment on the BP fans but the blue LEDs look nice I have the 200mm verision of that fan it works great.

Just keep in mind your gonna be sacrificing Air flow for less noise if you go with the  Corsair 120SP QE. That being said what are you really going for here nice looks/more air flow/a bit noisier or less air flow/more quietness. Will these fans be hooked up to a rad? if not and purely for air flow I would go with the BP's they throw in adapters so you can make them low noise if you wanted to.

I am doing a custom water loop.  But are the spectre pro's enough static pressure based for radiators?

So, I am thinking they are a better buy.  Yes the SP120 performance editions are better but at 2400+ rpm they are loud I want quiet.  So thanks very much!!
