MSI H97M-G43

today I was at my neghbourhood PC shop at CCK(singapore) I picked up a MSI H97M-G43 to lok at it I saw it said it's got OC genie 4 on it.

 

I rmember someone / My dad tell me only Z series boards are overclockable,  so whats the point of OC genie4?\

or if H series is overclockable does that mean I can oc my K series on that board?

Some motherboard manufacturers have BIOS' that can allow overclocking on H and B boards. Update your BIOS and you can OC.

Which CCK shop? if I may ask, if cheap I could go look there too, instead of going SLS

the one at lot one near the MRT the only cheap thing he carries are the fans I usually go there to pick up fans andmicrosoft mices

It could something over clocks the internal GPU. My brothers B75 had that and just OCed the bus to 103 and added some MHz to the iGPU
