Hi, am having a big problem of eye strain since i am almost always looking at a screen. Its starting to give me headaches. Has anyone used Gunnar glasses before? do they actually work? and do they distort color at all?

Other than gunnars does anyone know of a way to reduce eye strain from looking at screens for a long period of time? with the growth of technology and screens being everywhere i imagine there has to be something other than gunnars?

I've heard they work a little bit but personally i would rather just sit farther back or turn down my display brightness than buy a pair of glasses.

distorts colors a bit, yellowish tint, other than that they work.

the color distortion is fine for gaming but unacceptable for digital art.

also tons of computer eyewear for cheaper on ebay, never tried them thou.

Try this before getting gunnars: https://justgetflux.com/

Personally I own them and they do distort color a lot, it's all very yellow. I still recommend them unless you're doing photo or video editing if you can get them for cheap.

Backlighting on your monitor (such as an soft-color LED strip helps with eye fatigue.

It's debatable as to how effective it is, however, it's helped me at work. For some reason, the monitors at work never agreed with me.

When im at home it doesnt seem as bad using my asus monitor unless i'm staring at it like doing photo editing or graphics work than it starts to get to me. But when im at school which a lot of my day is spent staring at an imac thats when it starts getting to me. When im nnot looking at a mac im looking tat either a cheap dell all in one or a decent acer screen.

Looking on their website, I see they have the "Crystalline" series of lenses which are for "designers working in true color."  The lenses look completely clear, but do they still provide the benefits of Gunners?  I'm looking into getting a pair as I am always looking at a screen and think it could help with eyestrain.  I haven't seen these really mentioned anywhere and would be curious to see any feedback on them.
