Custom UPS Setup

I'm not sure if this is the right forum but here goes. In my area I have been having regular power cuts for some reason, so I thought it necessary to build/buy some from of UPS setup. So I looked at the prices and decided to try building one myself as I had a very limited budget.

 

This is a picture of it in early development, in my garage as the light isn't very good in the cupboard where it is located now.

 

So basically there are two battery chargers that keep both batteries charged and when the power goes out it drains from one battery through a 1200 watt inverter. When one battery is low I have rigged up a switch to change batteries.

So its basically a Solar panel set up, but with battery chargers instead?

How come youre using such small batteries?

They aren't small! They just look like it from the angle I am using. They can power my PC for about 6 hours each!
