Is it terrible?

I saw the price and was like "oh, that's pretty much beer money" so I'd be interested in one just for the lols.

I mainly just want to control the phone's music player from it.

In case the moderators do not ban me as requested, this is a notice that I have left and am not coming back.

Over here the Samsung Gear v700 is the same price, I had the same ideas like u and grapped the Samsung Gear for 115€. Don't want to miss it anymore!

The Samsung Gear is almost $50 more expensive here though. Does it have anything interesting to justify the difference? The Sony doesn't have a microphone for taking calls quickly, does the Gear have one?

Edit: I see it does have a mic, but I'll probably still get the Sony as it has a replacable wristband and it looks more comfortable.

Taking incoming calls was one reason to get the Samsung, it's relly comfortable when e.g. driving. Also the noise cancelling is really good! But I wish I could also swap my wristband. For me the Gear was more comfortable to wear (tried both @ a shop) and also I liked the looks of it more.

Seeing as how my BitFenix Flo headset comes with a mobile cord with included microphone it's not a big deal for me. Gear has some other features which look alright, but the wristband really is scary, I hate watches that get too clingy so if I can't do enough to adjust it, I'd go bonanners.

You can completly adjust the clip of the gear with 7 different sizes, I have a bit bigger wrist and use the 6 size (1 is smallest, 7 is highest).
