I am need of a gaming monitor that can do 1080p at 60hz.
Is this a good deal? Also there is no DVI, will I notice a difference with HDMI instead?

yea its ok but 1ms response time is better for gaming but overall yes its a pretty nice deal , post it on the Good Deals thread

Well I'd say $60 off is pretty nice. Certainly a pretty decent deal. In my opinion IPS monitors are the best!
