Looking to build my first PC and been looking already for some time and decide to get these parts.

Im mostly going to game on this computer and maybe do some video editing.

 

I going to buy some more ram and another harddrive later on if i need it.

no need for the plats and the formulas a waste of money

The formula is nessecarily not a waste of money. With a high-end board you'll get the esthetics, features, overclocking capabilities and good on-board audio.

you can get all the same for half the price in something like an msi mpower

Basicly it's a good build, but i would invest my money differently. I wouldn't take a RoG Formular because you dont have any custom water cooler, a Ranger or a Hero would fit better.

The 1200W psu is too overkill for your build, so get a 750W one. And instead of the 780, go ahead and buy a 780ti from the money you saved earlier with my tips ;)
