Windows Password Help

Hello,

I just had some questions about windows passwords.  if i had an account on a computer and forgot the password, how would i erase the password on that account, or get past the password.  if i had two accounts on the computer, but i could only get into one, how would i erase the password for the other account on an account.  how to log onto an account and get rid of that accounts password.

I suspect via the hidden admin account but you could also use restore points or not forget the damn password by writing it down or storing it in a text file in dropbox

trinity rescue has a password wipe utility.
but really, just don't forget the password.
Like, that is something you enter every single day, how do you forget it?

Also, if you're on OS 10.5 or higher, boot into the recovery, open a terminal and type "Reset Password".
It's hilarious how easy that is.

is this something i put on a disc/usb and boot from or do i have to install it, because i cant login to install it.
