So, I bought me a nice little Sandisk 120GB SSD recently, and I want to clone the data from my HDD to my SSD. Yes, I have enough space(There's only about 50-60 gigs on my HDD that I use). And no, I'm not going to reinstall all my games all over again. That would take years, my internet connection is crap.

Now, how should I go about this? What cloning software should I use? And if I shouldn't use a cloning program, are there other alternatives?

Thanks in Advance,

Shrink yours HDD's partition down so as small as it can be. Use a live-cd of Clonezilla with both your HDD+SDD installed and then copy that partition (sector clone) over to the SSD. Once its done unplug the HDD and extend in windows your primary partition size to fit the full 120gb SSD.

You can use EaseUS ToDo to clone partitions on a drive or a whole drive:

I ran into issues with Clonezilla, as it doesn't support GPT, only MBR. I used Seatools cloning (which is actually a skinned version of Acronis True Image), but both my drives were Seagate drives.
