PC Won't Power Up?

Nvoltis
Go to solution Solved by dhkatz,

Finally! I built my PC - but it won't power on? Every cable is plugged in, PSU switch is set to on, power switch cable (And the other small cables) are plugged in correctly... Now what?

Feel free to ask questions, I'll try my best to answer them.

EDIT: Which cable is the 8 Pin? I have an EVGA 850W G2

The 8-pin cable looks as it sounds. It is 8 pins

Also this is where your CPU power goes:

Also make sure any other power cables NOT on the motherboard are plugged in, like GPU if you have one

Are the all the mobo connectors plugged? The CPU power and the 24-pin mobo power?

Yes they are, problem is I don't know where the CPU power slot is. Is it Power slot #2? (Top left)

CPU power is a 4pin or a 8 pin near the cpu socket

It should be on the top of the mobo.

It should be on the top of the mobo.

They are 4 pins in a square, split into 2 each. (Total of 8) So I believe I've done it correctly. I used the mobo connectors extension for easier use/to plug in. Is that fine? Or can I just plug them without the extensions?

What mobo do you have?

The 8 pin is the top black one. 11 o'clock.

According to that post, you solved that issue. Is it still a problem?

Nope solved it, PC build is done.
