Hi guys! I'd like the forum's opinion about my next smartphone. I went from android to windows phone to ios, and now my iPhone 5 is about to be replaced, but with what? I am not completely sold on the new iPhone 6 and 6 plus, until I have some hands on time, so maybe I am looking for something else, maybe on the andoid camp. I had a nexus 5 from work for some time and i really liked it but since it is about to be replaced soon (nexus 6 hype), I don't know if it is sane to buy that phone now. Any advice would be helpful!

First, did you like the size of your iPhone 5? Because that size is changing.

Then, you might want to wait and see what the Nexus 6 brings. If you like the N6 when it's launched, then go for it.

Otherwise, HTC One M8 is an amazing. The UI and hardware are perfect. The only problem will be the camera.

My advice is that you should wait till October when Nexus 6 might get launched.

I'll be honest Im sold on the iPhone 6 :P probably because I've never owned an iPhone before but I would really like to own one. I still have quite a bit left on the plan on my Nexus 4 that I'm using right now but I might buy it out then switch to an iPhone

I would recommend that you wait until the next Nexus device comes out (Nexus 6/X). Nexus devices have probably the best price/performance ratio of any smartphone on the market. They are usually only slightly less powerful than other manufacturers' flagships (sometimes even better) and it's gonna last you a long time. I am using an LG Nexus 4 (2012) and it still performs all the tasks I need it to perform (and I am a pretty heavy smartphone user). Marques Brownlee (MKBHD) made a funny retweet recently and I had a good laugh:

Ultimately it's up to you to decide what phone will meet your needs. Good luck in choosing your next phone.
