I need a battery bank to keep in my backpack. It needs to be 15000mah or more and preferable be <$50(USD). Any recommendations?

I have no idea but amazon could be your dilema search enquiry buddy.

Yeah I just have no idea which brands are good and which ones aren't.

I'll help you with that :) I'll edit this post with a couple decent picks.

What do you get out of them standard;

  1. Other than the battery size (15000mah)
  2. size/weight being fairly close (1:TeckNet & 2:anker options have nearly identical size & weight, where as option 3:Gembonics is more bulky & slightly heavier)
  3. Dual usb ports (5v/2a + 5v/1a)
  4. Tecknet & anker have an 18 month warranty where as Gembonics has 12months. No hassle.

The included cables are quite bitchy imo but I'd choose either the Tecknet or anker <--has quite a number of good 4/5 star reviews.

Difference in price is somewhat negligible $30-$40 dollars

It's okay :) & your welcome good sir. Have a nice day.

Ps you might need to source your own cables for the battery bank(s).

I intend to source them and I'm probably gonna go with the gembonics because it looks like the texture matches my phone

Before you do try to look about if they have any bad reviews. Reading the good ones is fine but bad reviews can give you a little bit more insight into the products overall feedback.

It seems like they're mostly good. I'm looking for reviews not on amazon right now though
