Upgrading My Build

Hello, well over summer I got a summerjob and saved up $1050 and I want to upgrade my pc ( current pc parts) fx 6300, asus m5a97 le r2, gtx 660, corsair cx430m. Well I want yo sell the parts to my brother for $250. So now I will have $1300. Is it good to get i5 4690k, asus sabertooth mark 1, EVGA 750 g2, 2 corsair sp120 and 1 af140, also some g skill ares 8gb ram 2133mhz, corsair h105, also nzxt h440 orange. Should I wait for 5th gen intel or not. I will plastidip the corsair fans and the ring for the corsair h105.

Go with amd fx-8350 is cheaper and 9 times out of 10 is better than i5.

And you wouldnt have to get a new motherboard. 8370 just came out, Tek did a video on it.

yeh i have the fx8320 and its pretty decent, i would get a 8350 as theunknown said

I am going to wait for my birthday next year yo get the gigabyte gtx 970 and plastidip it like linus

Maybe, but the frame difference is negligible. I dont think its worth the money.
