Best wide screen display?

Instead of going for multiple displays I was thinking of getting a wide screen monitor. Any suggestions?

If you have the money go for the LG 34UM95. That's the only 21:9 monitor I can recommend, elsewise go for multiple displays.

BTW I love your Profile Photo, have you seen them live by chance?

Damn, that's a huge show. I saw them last year in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, USA (At a casino of all places). A small show for them, at only about 15 or 20 thousand.

There's the LG 34UM95, or the AOC U3477Pqu.

The AOC is yet to be released but has a much, much nicer stand.

 

There are a few other options coming, like a couple from Dell, but they're not out yet either.

I'm interested in the new AOC, has there been any new info on quality or a review of some kind? From what i've heard the AOC is conpareble to the LG 21:9 but a lot cheaper, Antoine know if that true?

It's not being released until October, so we'll likely find out then.

It uses the same panel, just no Thunderbolt or 9w speakers so it should be quite a bit cheaper.
