Smartphones

Stigs

Just gonna say it, I've never had a smartphone before, but I wish to get one.  I haven't before, because Verizon's data prices are ridiculous and that's the service my family uses. Anyway, online with verzion, I can get an HTC One (m7 i believe) for free when bought with a 2 year data plan.  I know the M8 is out, but I'm not going to be a heavy task phone user so is the m7 fine, or should I look for a different phone? Any help would be appreciated.

Since you didn't get any replies oddly.....

i would suggest get something from the frontline like G3/M8/s5 *if* there isn't a big price difference

but overall the M7 seems to be a great phone as Linus seems to like it,when he had used it

Also you good watch his vlogs

Moto G 4g

If he has the chance to get a subsidized phone, there's no point in getting a Moto G over the Moto X. Both solid starting phones but the Moto G is more meant for people on a budget using prepaid plans. Moto X is free subsidized so it's a much better choice.
