My school replaced our perfectly fine laptops for iPads and now I'm stuck with the bill for a dumb screen problem that I was hoping you guys could help me out with. There is a 1 pixel wide horizontal blue line across my screen in portrait mode about 1 inch from the top bezzle. Is this a hardware problem, if not how can I fix it?

Are the from school or did you go out to a store and buy one because it was prescribed by school? If it's the former, take it to the IT guys at school and they'll swap it out for a new one.

Can't you take a picture of it with your phone then upload it? 

But what it sounds like is a hardware problem. But as long as you're not throwing it on hard surfaces, I doubt it's your fault

 Probably is, but it can be sorted (or at least a fix attempted).

Note this is for a pixel or group of pixels, maybe more inolved to fix an entre line (but a line is just a horizontally arranged group).
