Hi all,

I have a math assignment for tommorow, and i am struggling with this problem

 

a² – (a + 2b)a + 2a² – a(3a + b)

 

My answer is -a2 - 3*b*a

What are you trying to do? Just expand and simplify?

 

a2-a2 - 2ba + 2a2 -3a2-ba

=-3ba-a2
