When a game first comes out everyone will think it's going to be the best game ever and when it's not it suddenly becomes the worst game ever. COD is a great example of this. So Ghosts is being called the worst COD game ever and a lot of people are going back to BO2 and calling it the best COD game ever. But back in 2012 BO2 was called the worst COD ever and people went back to MW3 and called it the best game ever. And when MW3 came out it was called the worst COD ever and a lot of people went back to BO. You see the cycle continues. When AW comes out the same thing will happen, Ghosts will suddenly become the best COD ever. And this will happen with almost every game. BF4 is a bad game overall and a lot of people hate it. But when Hardline comes out a lot of people won't like it and will think BF4 is good. This can be said about virtually every franchise. This is just some crazy thinking people have.

People who play GTA have liked pretty much the last 5 games from what I have seen. I don't really see any hate when a new Minecraft version comes out.

There are some people who went back to GTA 4 that's one of the few games that doesn't have this happen much. Minecraft gets a lot of hate when a new version comes out. And that's not a franchise.

i really really really doubt ghosts will be played once AW comes out, ghosts was awful (coming from someone who plays all COD games)

All CoDs after CoD4 were bad. I don't see your point. Same with BC2. It was terrible compared to BF2 which at that point was still popular game. There's always more talk than actions. Thats how internet works.
