I guess TN

Really, TN? A 60Hz TN display? I mean, man, I can find you one of those if you want but I really do think, given how fast IPS panels have gotten, that an IPS display would make for a much more pleasurable experience. But that's just me. If you want a TN display I'll find you a TN display but It'd be IPS all the way for me...personally. :D

Okay, I'm just being stupid & ridiculous. I can find you a good TN monitor if that is what you're requesting. :D

@grimmjow660, would you mind following your thread so that others, as well as myself, don't have to quote you please?

Also, I thought, depending what the best price you can find is, that LG 23MP75HM (http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824005630CVF) would be a really good option for you? I would even encourage you to scrape together some more $$$ to get this as I believe it's suppose to be a good IPS monitor. :)

I know you were wanting TN but a lot gamers are starting to go for IPS displays over TN ones these days for various reasons.

I'm not sure what the difference between TN and IPS is really

TN has faster speeds but worse color reproduction. All 144hz panels are TN, for example, while IPS panels are usually locked at 60hz

Specs: 4790k | Asus Z-97 Pro Wifi | MX100 512GB SSD | NZXT H440 Plastidipped Black | Dark Rock 3 CPU Cooler | MSI 290x Lightning | EVGA 850 G2 | 3x Noctua Industrial NF-F12's

Bought a powermac G5, expect a mod log sometime in 2015

Corsair is overrated, and Anime is ruined by the people who watch it

In general IPS panels have a much better picture and don't color shift when viewed at different angles.  TN pixels can switch colors slightly faster but this only really matters in the competitive scene.  I think the Acer H236HLbid is a good option, though usually it sits around $160-170 or so.

I love how you go from "I'll find you whatever you want" to "Oh wait you made the wrong decision let me fix that!" xD

To match that price range, you need to tell us the size of the monitor, 24" is typically much cheaper than a 27".

There's a member on here who bought 3 of those Acer H236HLbid displays and had bad luck with all 3. ;)
