Msi x99s gaming 9 worth it?

ItxCrow

If you are going with "just" 2 GPUs get the 5820K.

If you want a good value for money X99 board i suggest the Gigabyte X99 UD4H.

Spoiler

Samung Tab S 8.4

well its a bit over priced if you ask me.

But why would you ever want triple 780Ti´s?

I mean what is your goal with it?

Cause for the gaming performance you dont have to do it.

Everything above dual gpu setups, will suffer from a potentional cpu bottleneck.

Even haswell-e is not going to chance this.

Scaling over 3 gpu´s will probably sucks ass :P

Personally I would heavily favor an Asus board for the X99 Platform ~ 99% of the time I think Moba "Features" are pretty pointless, but in this case Asus actually added pins to the socket. Its a little strange that they where not there to begin with..... Maybe intel was planing an "Upgrade" in the future?? Idk.

Anyway, just watch this

Edit: A friend of mine compared the Asus Deluxe and the x99s x-power overclocking a 5830k. It's not finished, but there has been a small voltage difference so far (.1 / .2 lower)  *To be taken with a grain the salt*

goodboy lol.

Anyway, about boards, there is also a Gaming 7 board if im right?

i think that board is realy over priced for what it is. its still a gaming related board.

I would say look for a cheaper board, like the gaming 7
